Description: This widely heterogeneously stylistic collection of contemporary music is rather impossible to sum up under any rubric, including Sonograms, its title (only three of the works here were written using non-musical notation. But I can point out highlights: Arnaudov's ancient-Greece sounding piece; the way even recorder haters (like me) will probably find the Pärt piece which uses seven of them strangely compelling; the perpetual-motion machine-ish second Study by Szymanski, happily burbling along like Voyager leaving the solar system Angela Tosheva (piano), Benedikta Bonitz (recorders).
