Description: The almost non-existent notes tell us nothing about the main work here - Fuchs' 33 minutes worth of violin duos, whose publication date can be reliably guessed at though (c.1897) - but they fall easily into the genre of the Characterstücke so popular among German Romantic composers. Somewhat rare are Atovmyan's transcriptions of short segments from various sources in Shostakovich's stage and screen music. Regina Brandstätter, Raimund Lissy (violins), Tobias Lea (cello), Cordelia Höfer (piano).
