Description: Recorded by the Czech label Arco Diva in 2002-05, this series appears here on an English license (except for vol. 3 which appeared in some territories on BMG) and offers some rare repertoire along with material which has had some recordings already. The Bárta symphony, a fine example of Mannheim Sturm und Drang while the Richter concerto, dark-hued, anxious in its outer movements but with a charming pastorale center movement, is only available here. Czech Chamber Philharmonic; Vojtech Spurny (harpsichord).
