Description: Unlike most "orchestrations" of violin sonatas, which just add more strings, these also add flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon to make them sound like a real concerto Grieg might have written. The orchestrators also paid a lot of attention to Grieg's orchestration techniques and answer most questions you might think of asking about their project in the notes, which are 90% about the orchestration and 10% about the actual music, which is well-known anyway.
