Description: Utterly winning, very approachable, brilliant orchestrated music in a style which one might call neo-Romantic-Impressionist. The divertimento-like Centinelas is practically glistening with primary, Mexican folk color and, though the two concertos are less obviously folk-inspired, they are still unmistakeably born of the art, traditions and landscapes of Angulo's native Mexico.
