ALESSANDRO ROLLA (1757-1841): Violin Concertos in B Flat, D and in A.

Description: World Premiere Recordings of these undated concertos, part of Rolla's total of 21. They're in the usual classical form - a roughly ten-minute opening movement in which one gets the most violinistic virtuosity, a 3-4 minute sad or touchingly lyrical slow movement and a 6-8 minute rondo finale which has the most "hooky" themes.
