1. The new Forest of the Amazon by Villa-Lobos which we offered last month was out of stock at its distributor by July 5. This is partly because it was a June release but did not arrive in my hands until after the July catalogue was up on the website and in the mail but also a symptom of the disease every American distributor is catching: unwillingness to keep more than skeleton stock even on new releases. These back-orders will be filled with your August orders.
2. While the back-ordered customers for this item are fewer than for the above, you'll need to know that it is taking two months for Preiser's distributor to get more of the Beethoven/Mahler 07M007. I am told not to expect more of this until early September. Business is bad all around but it hurts worse when you can't get things that people actually want to buy...
