Description: The Fantasy Waltzes (1955) are Alwyn's major piano work, a suite of eleven virtuoso pieces. Except for Green Hills (an Ireland-like nature piece) and the Sonata alla toccata, everything else here is a world premiere recording, short pieces from 1925-45 ranging from quasi-light music to little tone-poems like Green Hills.
