Description: The two premieres here are collections of fairly easy pieces for young pianists: The Little Wanderer (1922) is very Schumannesque, 13 vignettes from "Preparing his travel" to miniature postcards of Poland, Venice, Naples, France, Spain, England, "Old Germany" and Norway, while 1938's Marionettes is a nine-piece suite of character portraits ("Cossack", "Gipsy", "Chinese", etc.), brief and as charming as the Wanderer.
