Description: These quartets were published in 1854 and the Sixth particularly stands out with its Mendelssohnian scherzo and nods to Beethoven in its jubilant, large-scale final movement which alludes to the Ninth Symphony in its progression from D minor to D major. Reinhold Quartet.
