Description: As Genzmer's own credo, printed on the outside of this box, puts it: "Music should be vital, artful and accessible. It should appeal to perofrmers by being practicable and to listeners by being intelligible." A succinct answer to the atonal complexicists of the mid-20th century who scorned Genzmer's melodic accesibility. This mid-priced set (discs in paper sleeves with a 48-page booklet in three languages) was issued in 2010 as a memorial. A good way to catch up if you've not been collecting Thorofon's Genzmer series over the last 14 or so years. We actually haven't offered four of these ten discs... 10 CDs.
