Description: We offer this for the only CD version of Tubin's late sonata from 1979, a three-movement work of 18 minutes, with lyrical outer movements framing a vivacious, rather Gallic fast movement. Edlund's 1984 sonata (13 min.) is also often lyrical and quite approachable, having little to do with modernism. Magnus Irving Båge (flute), Bengt-Åke Lundin, Carl-Axel Dominique (piano).
