Description: Hermann studied under Mendelssohn (composition) and Ferdinand David (violin) at the former's newly founded Leipzig Conservatory (wouldn't we like to hear his 1852 symphony?) and made these violin and piano arrangements by splitting melody from accompaniment in the piano original and, thus, leaving the nature of the originals untouched. Axel Strauss (violin), Cord Garben (piano).
