Description: "Brazilian Light Music from Two Centuries" might be the title of this new offering performed by a small Brazilian chamber orchestra (actually, four of them are Bulgarian but we won't ask...) in Londrina, Parana. Gomes' (undated) work is the largest-scale - four movements - and is disconcertingly like English string music of a slightly later period, except for the "Rocking Horse" finale, apparently evergreenly popular in Brazil. Solistas de Londrina.
