Description: Only available CD recording of Rodrigo's typically sparkling and rhythmically lively sonata from 1966, its second and third movements full of Iberian color. Arnold's Pieces (1964) were written as encores for a Yehudi Menuhin tour of the U.S. and include one piece based on an Indian raga and one which pays tribute to Charlie Parker.
