Description: The latest volume of this series brings three composers proud to have stayed in the late Romantic style all their lives, although two of these are early works - Rasse's from 1897 which weds youthful passion and melting lyricism in its first two movements with a Franckian sweep in its finale and Vreuls' (1896) romantic effusion, the longest of the three at 32 minutes - although the 1915 work of Ryelandt has all the passion and enthusiasm of youth in its two-movement allegro and theme and variations form. I Giocatori Piano Trio.
