Description: In her note for this release, conductor Falletta sounds like a Records International customer: "always ... a piece that shimmered on my horizon - a cult piece, in a way". She plaintly wanted to record this monumental, colorful and poetic symphony in the worst way and has wound up, with the help of many financial contributors listed on the traycard, doing so - in the best way.
