Description: Dating from 1875, 1877 and 1878, the first of these pieces was what got Le Beau accepted as a pupil of Rheinberger while the other two were written during her studies with him. Graceful romantic melodies flow freely and no instrument is privileged over another, form is perfectly Classical and everything is positioned in the great Germanic flow from Mozart to Brahms (because, regardless of her French-looking name, Le Beau was born in and died in Baden-Württemberg).
