Description: The first etudes for violin by Polish composers, published in 1812 and 1816 respectively, thus predating Lipinski’s Op. 3 of 1817. The demands on technique are belong in them league as Paganini, Ernst, Wieniawski and Lipinski with only the vagaries of history to blame for their near loss. NOTE: This is a 34-minute disc.
