Description: Although the octets were once available on a nine-year-old Hungaroton release, the six quintets are new to CD. The quintets are about half as long as the octets and, seeming to reminisce about his far away home, filled with yearning, gentle rhythms and suddenly virtuosic horn passages, they date from the last months of the "Divine Bohemian's" life, which were spent in Rome.
