Description: This pendant to the Naxos Mompou series which you thought ended in 2002 contains all world premiere recordings: the piano version of a 34-minute ballet from 1955 (which has two numbers by Montsalvatge), a 15-minute set (Ballet) of musical epigrams for a book of the same name featuring poems illustrated by the composer's brother, several other typically aphoristic pieces and two chamber works (Altitud, from 1928, contains material from a never-written string quartet and El pont, from 1976, is a reworking of a solo piano piece from 1947 which Mompou did not publish because he found it "overly melodic-romantic").
