Description: The four waltzes originally arranged for the only public performance given in 1921 by Schoenberg's Society for Private Musical Performances are joined here by Schoenberg's 1924 arrangement of the Kaiserwalzer and, in the spirit and letter of the Society, Trojahn was commissioned in 2007 to produce two arrangments using the same instrumentation (as did composer Dott in 2003 in a work written for these artists).
