Description: The only previous recording containing songs by Burgmüller was an MD&G disc from 1999 which had 13. Now, in this "Jublilee Edition 2010" release not previously available in the U.S., we have all surviving 22. These enhance his reputation and give further support to Schumann and later scholars who place Burgmüller alongside Schubert and Mendelssohn. No texts (Yikes! Really?).
