Description: Two neoclassical ballet scores dating from 1923 and 1935. Sextuor is about a love triangle involving a flute, violin and cello with a drum, trombone and tuning fork also on the scene while Bric à brac, at 36 minutes twice as long, has its setting in a Parisian flea-market (and a good dose of American jazz à la Gershwin abot three quarters of the way through). Anyone who likes French ballets of the inter-war period (Martinu, Poulenc, Auric, Sauget, Milhaud, etc.) will be sure to enjoy these colorful scores. Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra; Łukasz Borowicz, Wojciech Michniewski (Bric à brac).
