GIOVANNI MENEGHETTI (1730-1794): Violin Concertos in A, F, C, F and G, Sonata for Violin and Continuo in A, Sonatas for Harpsichord in B Flat and in G Minor.

Description: Although he travelled several times north of the Alps, this composer spent his entire life and career in his native town of Vicenza. His five extant violin concertos are undated but are in a conservative style whose three movements combine the legacy of Vivaldi with elements of the more modern concept of the concerto for solo instrument.
