Description: Tenebrae for Holy Week in Naples in the second half of the 17th century with Veneziano being the major discovery: his lectiones are twice as long as the slightly earlier ones by Caresana and are divided into many sections which offer the composer opportunity to display his capabilities in all compositional aspects of the time and which can be compared to the more famous Lamenations composed in the same city around the beginning of his Neapolitan tenure in 1684 by Alessandro Scarlatti. Valentina Varriale (soprano), I Turchini; Antonio Florio.
