Description: The second release of music for oboe band (three oboes, bassoon, violone and harpsichord) from this label recently brings the only three surviving suites from a 1703 publication by Krieger (outdoor music as their title might indicate) and several of Schiefferdecker's 1713 publication whose suites were intended for use at the theatre as preludes to operas or as entr'acts.
