Description: No dates are given for any of these works, so we can only tell you that the 33-minute trio is unusual for its three movements carrying one third of the Latin title prefixed to Schiller's long poem Das Lied von der Glocke (i.e. Vivos voco! Mortuos plango! Fulgura frango!). Church bells, of course, do summon the living, mourn the dead and they might repel the lightning but do they make this program music? Probably not; it's likely a philosophical subtext and the music, although rich and melodic, doesn't have quite the dramatic punch of the Latin. The remaining three works are attractive and lyrical pieces of top-shelf salon style. Joanna Lawrynowicz (piano), Lucyna Fiedukiewicz (violin), Lukasz Tudzierz (cello).
