Description: Published in 1773, these are delightful two‐movement works in the galant style, like pieces in the same genre by his fellow émigré to England, Johann Christian Bach. The writing for the instruments, especially the keyboard, is of an advanced virtuosity and the violin mostly confined to an accompanying role.
