Description: Czerny’s work, with Beethovenian orchestral weight and Hummelian keyboard fireworks in its first movement, brief, nocturne-like slow movement and crowd-pleasing Rondo alla Polacca finale dates from the late 1820s. Bruch’s works are from opposite ends of his career: the possibly first recording of a youthfully Romantic ten-minute Fantasy of 1860 and this oddball version of a clarinet-and-viola concerto of 1911. Piano Duo Genova & Dimitrov, Genesis Orchestra (Czerny), Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra; Yordan Kamdzhalov.
