Description: The early TWV 40:200 is a sonata with concertante characteristics and the equally early 51:a1 (from between 1708 and 1715) was also recorded as an oboe concerto in cpo’s wind concerto Telemann series. The remaining two works are the last of seven hybrid pieces which attach a solo violin part to seven-movement French orchestral suites (the other five are in Vols. 3 and 4 of this series).
