Description: Yet another Italian with the greater part of his career spent in London, Giardini was a close associate of Abel and J.C. Bach. These three-movement “chamber quartets”, published between 1776 and 1783, are notable for their heterogenous instrumentation and are comparable to the style of the London Bach. Quartetto Mirus, Giorgio Bottiglioni (viola), Nicola Campitelli (flute), Attilio Cantore (harpsichord).
