Description: The second batch of tasty wind concertos from cpo includes one of Telemann's longest works: the recorder concerto lasts over 16 minutes, dates from around 1730 and is the most galant of the works here. The others are all earlier and more conservatively baroque in stylewith the pastoral fulte concerto standing out while it's fun to see what Telemann could do with a pair of horns and not bring in hunting motifs. La Stagione Frankfurt and Camerata Köln; Michael Schneider (recorder).
