Description: More snapshots of this prolific and energetic composer with more of the appealing brief Cameos, the vigorous and inventive concert piece sonatinas and the explorations of the bagpipe music of the highlands, the Piobaireachd, essentially improvised variations on original melodies over a drone accompaniment, of which Chisholm made various piano transcriptions and arrangements.
