Description: Arch-conservative Getty takes many liberties with Poe, introducing the author as a character, adding another one not in the short story, making the House itself evil and more. This one-acter is mainly recitative with orchestral color added where necessary - only one two-minute song is included and there is one orchestral dance-scene. Probably effective if you're watching it in the theatre... Libretto included.
