Description: Works from the period in which Naples gave birth to the modern cello school of composition and performance, from the very obscure Greco’s Sinfonia of 1699 to the equally unknown Pericoli’s sonata from 1769. Also contains the 2005 Zig-Zag Territories release “Concerti Napoletani per Violoncello” with Nasillo and Ensemble 415;  Chiara Banchini, with concertos by Nicola Fiorenza, Porpora, Leo and Nicolò Sabatino which we offered ten years ago. 2 CDs for the price of 1.
