Description: The next Fall stage work from cpo dates from 1903 and was originally titled Frau Denise. Neither opera nor operetta, closer to the old singspiel, it is a light, breezy 52 minutes in one act with reminiscences of the “fairy-tale opera” and stylistic quotations of the rococo. No libretto.
