Description: French ballet via piano transcriptions of the scores (presumably by the composers themselves since no one else is mentioned in the notes) some of which (Sauguet, Thiriet, Asafiev) don’t now exist in orchestral versions. What are the Françaix and Debussy doing here? Not written as ballet scores, they were later used for dance anyway. Anthony Goldstone (piano).
