Description: The last sonata from the 1742 publication and the first three from a 1746 printing which, as noted for last month's first volume: containing practically every element of Classical sonata form but in prototypical, fragmentary ways which point both to Platti's ingenious creative sense and to his subsequent influence on the early keyboard sonatas of Haydn and the young Mozart Filippo Emanuele Ravizza (harpsichord).
