Description: Collectors of this series will need no urging, especially since the Strauss Metamorphoses appear to be the only work here which has any other recordings. The largest-scale one is the eight-movement, 31-minute suite whose baroque dance-titles belie Godowsky's characteristic ripe Romanticism. Konstantin Scherbakov (piano).
