Description: This cycle of solo sonatas is first mentioned by the composer in 1750 but he may have worked on them well into old age. One of the largest integrated sets of sonatas for any instrument (roughly six hours long), it tends toward the utmost stylistic simplicity and may have been a performance adjunct to Tartini's theories on two-part writing.
