Description: Whether the 30 Polish dances from the Rostock manuscript, which was discovered in 1987, are Telemann originals or transcriptions of actual folk dances or a combination of both is not certain. Half of them were on a Channel Classics disc we offered almost six years ago (10N023) with a Slovak historical-specialist folk music ensemble.
