Description: You thought Haydn didn't write any sonatas for string instrument and keyboard? Well, apparently, neither did Anthony von Hoboken who, in 1957, sort of argued negatively that the three he shoehorned into his catalogue by adding an "a" to his XV series were actually by Haydn although there's no evidence that they aren't. No dates are suggested for these three-movement works and there are no other recordings. The other two also appear as piano trios and come from his London stay in 1794-95 (Hoboken suggests that the trio versions originally came from violin sonatas). Alberto Bologni (violin), Giuseppe F. Modugno (fortepiano).
