Description: All of these pieces except the Elegie of 1919 were written by Busoni between the ages of 9 and 14, under the influence of his clarinet-playing father. Remarkably assured, sometimes with instantly memorable melodies and often making significant demands on the soloist, these works run the influence-gamut from Hummel to Brahms but that won't put off any collectors who don't know them already.
