Description: Few notes are needed for a release like this. The suites are all compiled by conductor Mauceri who also restored Herrmann's 1968 concert piece derived from his Psycho score. The recordings are live (two dates in November 2012), the total time a generous 81:00 and there are notes by Mauceri (brief) and John Riley (much more lengthy and specific). No texts. Klaudia Kidon (soprano) Danish National Concert Choir (The Man Who Knew Too Much), Danish National Symphony Orchestra; John Mauceri.
