Description: We had a disc on a small special-import Finnish label five years ago of piano music by this Austrian pianist-composer-teacher who studied under Bruckner and Dessoff. There is no repetition here in the two groups of piano pieces and the big, 35-minute, four-movement sonata is a fine addition to the genre of conservative, Brahmsian chamber compositions.
