Description: Considered as a violinist to have been the finest of the Tartini school, Nardini's compositions are also anchored in the late baroque although all virtuosity (and there is plenty) is subordinated to the demands of the music. Standing out particularly is the scordatura-tuned solo violin sonata Enigmatica and the C Major Violin/Cello sonata in which galant styles make a rare appearance. Ensemble "Ardi Cor Mio".
