EDUARD FRANCK (1817-1893): Piano Trios in E Minor, Op. 11 and in D, Op. 58.

Description: The twelfth Audite release of music by the Francks is again exclusively of works by the elder composer. As you may recall from the previous release, Eduard stuck to Mendelssohn and Schumann stylistically throughout his long life and these trios are no exception regardless of date. The op. 11 was published in 1848 but its companion only appeared in print posthumously and dating is hypothetical; however, it's a bit more relaxed and less dense than its discmate.
