Description: A couple of lesser-known pieces highlight this second volume: the violin version of the 1862 five-movement Suite and the 1850 unfinished sonata.  The latter was Saint-Saëns' second attempt at a sonata and consists of a four-minute Allegro vivace and a scherzo which breaks off after about a minute.
