Description: The concertos are Classical pieces composed by a Parisian virtuoso on the instrument in partnership with a German composer resident in that city; the latter’s 16-minute symphony has a last movement with dramatic and gloomy elements that set it apart it from the light and pleasant concluding movements of the symphonies of the period.
